This book collects Issues of Brave and the Bold Batman Team-Ups. All but one are by Bob Haney. Rather than detail each team up, I'll offer some highlights both good and not so good. The good: Jim Aparo takes over the art. While the art in the book was always solid, Jim Aparo took it to a new level as he did the art for nine of the final eleven stories and began an epic run on this title with legendary art/5. I am thrilled with the DC Showcase Presents series of black and white reprints of long runs of old comic books. (I hope they keep them in print!) In this volume are some old favorite long-running newsstand team-up comics, featuring the evolving Batman of the mid-to-late s and the scripting of the late, great Bob Haney/5. Volume 3 of this collection continues the trend of the previous volumes by giving us the Batman team-ups of "Brave and the Bold". The thing that sets this collection apart is the fact that Jim Aparo drew almost every issue, so the artwork here is consistent and absolutely first class all the way. There are some nice team-ups here/5(12).
