I enjoyed reading The Road Home. Nicieza does a good job of keeping this thing from becoming a mushy love-fest, and instead just shows a few chinks in Wayne's emotional armor. I think I would have rated it even higher, but the Vicki Vale storyline (especially the conclusion to it) was just goofy. Unfortunately, that was also the conclusion to the book. It was probably the only time in the story that I /5(1K).
